Bombardier Regional Aircraft’s market forecast for the 2007-2026 time period predicts deliveries of 11,200 aircraft with between 20 and 149 seats with a value of $393 billion U.S. The forecast breaks down the seat segments with 1,000 deliveries in the 20-59 seat category; 4,300 aircraft of 60 to 99 seats; and 5,900 aircraft in the 100-149 seat segment.

Influenced by the continuing focus on operating costs, turboprops will remain a key component of the 20-59 seat segment and will play a substantial role in the growth of the 60-99 seat segment, the forecast says.
