A new CRJ operator in China

A new CRJ200 operator in The People's Republic of China is Kunpeng Airlines, a joint venture of Shenzhen Airlines of China, which holds a 51 per cent share and Mesa Air Group Inc. of the U.S., which holds the balance of the shares through two subsidiary Chinese companies.

Kunpeng Airlines began operations in September, 2007 and serves 13 destinations from its base in the western city of Xi'an with three CRJ200 aircraft transferred from Mesa.
