Benoit Breault
Director, Research & Technology
"I joined Bombardier in 2008 on the Challenger aircraft platform. I then worked for many years on the Global 7500 program, much of which I spent as Project Engineering Manager.
This program gave me the opportunity to enjoy coordinating engineering teams from critical design reviews to the first flight of the flight test vehicles and ultimately to certification.
Based at Bombardier's headquarters in Montreal, I have been named Director of Research and Technology for 2019. This role allows me to fulfill a childhood dream of designing the aircraft of the future - combining the design capabilities of world-class engineers with the advancement of research into the aerospace technologies of the future."

Daniel Gevry
Operations Leader, Seat and Divan Installation, Global Aircraft Family
"I was doing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration when I had the opportunity to get a temporary job at Bombardier as a warehouse worker. When I started, I was particularly impressed by the fact that I could observe aircraft from so close. I was also impressed to see the passion and pride of the employees involved in the manufacturing of these planes. I immediately felt like I was part of a big family.
After a few weeks, I really liked what I was doing at Bombardier and the people I was working with, so I decided to keep my job and continue my education part-time. I worked for five years on the stores team as a team leader. After 9 years with the company, I was promoted to Stores Manager.
I worked at different stages of manufacturing Global aircraft, which allowed me to learn about the installation of aircraft interiors. I was privileged to have a supervisory position in the operations support logistics team. It was an exciting job that allowed me to see the evolution of the aircraft design each day.
Finally, I recently obtained a management position in the seat and divan production team, again for the Global Aircraft family. My role is to manage a team of upholsterers in the design of the Nuage Seats. It is an exciting role where we have to make sure we are producing high quality work. The design of the Nuage Seats is done by hand, posing quite a crafting challenge when it comes to producing an identical series for a client. What I find exciting is to see a series of parts arrive and in a few days of transformation, to see a set of personalized, very high-quality seats. Bombardier has given me an opportunity to evolve with them for the past 23 years and I am extremely proud to be part of one of Quebec’s flagship companies."
Anne-Elisabeth Dutil
Technical Sales Specialist
"I have always been fascinated by airplanes. Throughout my teenage years, I was involved in the Air Cadet program, which is a fantastic opportunity for young people and especially those who are passionate about aviation. Thanks to the Air Cadets, I was able to realize my love for aviation by obtaining my glider pilot and private pilot licenses. Then, at university, I studied Mechanical Engineering, always with the goal of working in aviation.
It was when I started working at Bombardier that I really grasped how lucky we are to have an aircraft manufacturer here in Montreal. I remember having goosebumps the first time I walked along the Challenger aircraft production line.
In my first role at Bombardier as a Technical Customer Account Specialist, I had the pleasure of working closely with aircraft technicians and production line employees. I particularly enjoyed learning about the aircraft manufacturing process, from the green aircraft (with just a metal structure, flight controls and cockpit) to the aircraft being delivered to the customer.
For close to 8 years now, I have been a Technical Sales Specialist, working in the Sales Engineering group. This is a perfect fit for me, because it combines the technical aspects of a business jet (performance calculations and aircraft knowledge) with the creative aspects (the creation of new sales pitches and documents that will be used by customers) and the human aspects (presenting to customers and working with various professionals). I am thrilled to be working for Bombardier, a worldwide leader in manufacturing business aircraft."
