Bombardier Aerospace Adds Experience And International Business Acumen To Commercial Aircraft Sales Efforts In India

Trung Ngo, Vice President Sales, Asia-Pacific, is spearheading Bombardier Commercial Aircraft’s sales efforts in India with a team of experienced aviation sales executives.

 Dubbed “Team India”, Mr. Ngo is joined by Sunder Venkat, Sales Director – India, and Ryan Debrusk, Sales Director – Asia-Pacific region, at India Aviation 2008 in Hyderabad.  The three bring over 60 years of aviation industry experience and international business acumen to new and existing customers in India.

 “One of our first orders of business is to showcase the CRJ900 NextGen regional jet at India Aviation 2008 in Hyderabad,” said Mr. Ngo. “The CRJ900 NextGen aircraft is the ideal demonstration of what Bombardier Commercial Aircraft can offer India’s growing aviation market.”

Mr. Ngo has been with Bombardier since 1982, most recently as Vice President, Marketing and Communications,  Bombardier Regional Aircraft. On August 27, 2008 he was named Vice President, Sales, Asia-Pacific – a large sales region that includes India. Mr. Ngo, who holds an MBA and another degree in Mechanical Engineering, also spent four years in a senior position with Bombardier Transportation.

 Sunder Venkat was appointed Sales Director – India effective September 1, 2008.  Based in India and an ardent aviation enthusiast, he arrived at Bombardier following a distinguished career with a major aircraft engine company. 

 Ryan Debrusk is a graduate of international business studies who joined Bombardier eight years ago.  Among other assignments, he was responsible for customer support activities in India.  In his current role as Sales Director – Asia-Pacific, Mr. Debrusk covers India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, South Korea and Japan.
