Bombardier Aerospace Appoints Humberto Moas As South American Business Aircraft Sales Director

Bombardier Aerospace today announced that Humberto (Bert) Moas has been named sales director for South America, with responsibility for all new and pre-owned business aircraft sales involving Bombardier’s three business jet families: Bombardier Learjet*, Bombardier Challenger*, and Bombardier Global*.

Mr. Moas joins the new aircraft sales force from Bombardier’s pre-owned business aircraft group where he was sales director for Latin America. Based in Fort Lauderdale, he reports to Fabio Rebello, regional vice-president, sales, Latin America, Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft.

“Bert has enjoyed strong success with pre-owned aircraft, and I have every confidence that he will continue to contribute to our sales success throughout South America, especially here in Brazil,” said Mr. Rebello. “His comprehensive knowledge of our entire product line and his considerable experience in understanding and defining operator needs position him very well for this new challenge. It gives me great pleasure to welcome him to the team.”

Mr. Moas has almost a quarter-century of aviation experience. His career began in 1980 as a helicopter mechanic for the U.S. Marine Corps. In 1989, he entered civil aviation with United Airlines where he worked until 1991, and then joined AMR Combs in Fort Lauderdale, a facility subsequently acquired by Bombardier Aerospace. Over the next six years, he held various positions of increasing responsibility at Bombardier Business Aviation Services. In October 2003, he assumed responsibility for pre-owned aircraft sales for Latin America.
