Bombardier Aerospace today announced the appointment of Judith Moreton as the new Managing Director for Bombardier Flexjet® Europe, which offers corporations and individuals access to business jet travel within Europe and beyond.
Effective immediately, Mrs. Moreton is responsible for ensuring the continued growth of the company’s Jet Membership programme along with overseeing its Skyjet Europe charter operations. She also assumes responsibility for Bombardier Flexjet Asia-Pacific, based in Hong Kong. Mrs. Moreton has over 20 years of aviation experience. She served as Operations Manager for Shell Aircraft for ten years, and was General Manager at Virgin Express for two years prior to joining Flexjet Europe in 2002.
Based at the Bombardier Business Aircraft headquarters in London, Mrs. Moreton reports directly to James Hoblyn, Vice-President, BombardierAerospace, Business Aircraft, and former Managing Director for Flexjet Europe.
“Having served as Head of Operations since joining Flexjet Europe in 2002, Judith has been instrumental in the development and continued growth of our Jet Membership programme,” said Mr. Hoblyn. “She already has a very strong relationship with both operators and customers and has a solid understanding of the business jet market in Europe. There is no better candidate for the position.”
Mrs. Moreton is looking forward to the challenge. “In spite of a tough market over the last year, we have worked hard to deliver a truly European programme that appeals to customers, offering more choice and better value. As a result, we have increased our flying time by over 40 per cent. With our streamlined Jet Membership programme and Skyjet Europe service, we are well positioned to benefit from an improving economic climate.”
Flexjet Europe is well represented in Europe with a strong presence in several countries. Mrs. Moreton is supported in the United Kingdom by Walter Stark, European sales director and Guy Woodward-Burden, Sales Manager, UK, Ireland and the Netherlands.

Notes to Editors
Since being launched in 2002, Flexjet Europe’s Jet Membership programme has steadily grown in popularity, leading the company to virtually double its fleet of aircraft. Unlike European fractional ownership models, Jet Membership is based on the purchase of annual flying hours rather than a physical share of an aircraft. As one of Europe’s most flexible and customized business jet travel programmes, it enables customers to enjoy all the benefits of business aviation while paying only for the time spent on board a Bombardier aircraft at an all-inclusive, fixed hourly rate.
Launched earlier this year to meet market demand for entry-level access to business jet travel, Bombardier Skyjet Europe is the only charter service in Europe to offer ‘Occupied Hours’ pricing, whereby customers pay only for the time spent in flight with no positioning costs. Offering many of the benefits of business jet travel with no commitment, the programme is particularly well-suited for ‘one-off’ trips by occasional travellers as well as more challenging journeys to destinations not well served by local charter operators.
Both Bombardier Skyjet Europe and Bombardier Flexjet Europe’s Jet Membership offer customers guaranteed access to over 500 European airports on a fleet of over 50 Bombardier business jet aircraft, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
In addition to the Flexjet Europe programme, Bombardier also operates the Flexjet program in North America and the Flexjet Asia-Pacific program. Through these divisions, the Bombardier Flexjet program offers customers a truly global business jet travel solution, enabling them to fly anywhere in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and beyond.
