Bombardier Aerospace Appoints New Sales Representative for Germany

ExecuJet named exclusive sales agent

Bombardier Aerospace has named ExecuJet Aviation Group as the exclusive sales representative for its Challenger 300 and Learjet family of business jets in Germany, effective immediately.

"ExecuJet excels at offering business jet customers one of the industry's most comprehensive array of transportation solutions, making them an obvious choice for Bombardier in our goal to provide German customers with integrated services of superior quality," said Jahid Fazal-Karim, senior vice-president, new aircraft sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. "ExecuJet has achieved extraordinary success selling Bombardier business jets worldwide, and we are confident that this latest agreement for the important German market will prove to be just as successful."

Under the sales representation agreement, ExecuJet will work closely with Bombardier's European sales team, headed by Bob Horner, vice-president, sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. Together, they will offer solutions to existing and potential Bombardier customers including aircraft sales, Skyjet Iternational and ExecuJet in-house charter support and aircraft management and operations.

"Being awarded this Bombardier sales representation in Germany marks another important milestone in ExecuJet's European business expansion plans," observed Niall Olver, chief executive officer, ExecuJet Aviation Group. "Not only does it provide a platform to launch our integrated aviation sales and services business model further across Europe, it also gives ExecuJet the opportunity to offer turnkey, integrated solutions to first time buyers and customers in Germany."

ExecuJet's move into Germany began with the announcement of the company's acquisition of Frankfurt-based charter and exclusive Bombardier business jet operator Jet Connection in August 2004. Bombardier Aerospace has a leading presence in Germany, one of the world's top business jet markets. Currently a total of 85 Bombardier business jets are registered in Germany, representing 35 per cent of the total installed base.
