Bombardier Aerospace At Aviation Expo China 2005

To support its leading market position in China and the Asia-Pacific region in the regional and business aircraft segments, Bombardier Aerospace will be present at Aviation Expo China 2005, from September 21 to 24 in Beijing.

A leading supplier of regional aircraft to China, Bombardier is fully committed to its partnerships with China's airlines and operators. Currently, five airlines and government agencies operate a total of 38 Bombardier regional aircraft in China. These commercial airlines include ChangAn/Hainan Airlines, China Eastern Yunnan Airlines, Shandong Airlines, Shanghai Airlines and CR Airways of Hong Kong.

In addition, Bombardier Regional Aircraft's worldwide commitment to customer support extends within China to a spare parts depot located in Beijing and a resident Customer Support team working with all of our operators to provide counsel and guidance on technical and maintenance matters.

Bombardier Business Aircraft also enjoys a strong market position in the Asia-Pacific region, with the largest business aircraft installed base, at 30 percent. In addition, Bombardier Business Aircraft maintains close commercial and industrial relationships with top Asian aerospace leaders including AIDC, from Taiwan, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Japan, Hawker de Havilland, Australia, and Satyam in India.

Bombardier's Skyjet International is introducing charter service in the Asia-Pacific region allowing business leaders to enjoy seamless and customized travel service. The SkyJet International network currently includes six Asian operators located in the Philippines, China, Japan, Australia, Singapore and Macau.

Representatives from Bombardier's New Commercial Aircraft Program will be on-hand at Aviation Expo China to provide details on the CSeries program. The Bombardier CSeries is a competitive family of aircraft that will offer unmatched operating ergonomics, reliability, total life cycle support, unparalleled passenger appeal and operating flexibility to meet the demands of the future. A launch decision will be made this fall.

Aviation Expo China is China's most important civil and military aerospace event. Held at Beijing's CIEC Exhibition Centre, Hall 8, it attracted over 170 exhibiting companies from 22 countries and welcomed 17,000 qualified trade visitors in its past 2003 edition. Trade visitors and the media are welcome to visit Bombardier Aerospace's stand located in aisle F3 from September 21 to 24, 2005.
