Bombardier Aerospace Launches Learjet 40 Package For Latin American Operators

Unique transportation-service package heralds Latin American debut of newest Bombardier Learjet

Bombardier Aerospace today introduced a unique transportation and service package heralding the arrival of Bombardier’s new Learjet* 40 light business jet to Latin America.

Available only with the purchase of a new Bombardier Learjet 40, it features 25 hours of free air travel aboard a Bombardier Learjet 45 super light jet provided through the Bombardier Flexjet fractional ownership program, combined with 60 months of free coverage under Bombardier’s industry-leading Smart Parts Plus component coverage program, over and above the standard 60-month aircraft warranty.

The Bombardier Learjet 40 introductory package is available to operators in South America, Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean who order their Bombardier Learjet 40 prior to Oct. 31, 2004, for operation in Latin America. Total value of the package is evaluated at more than $350,000 U.S.

“I can’t think of a better way to introduce the exciting new Bombardier Learjet 40 to operators here in Brazil and throughout Latin America,” declared Fabio Rebello, regional vice-president, sales, Latin America, Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft. “Buying and flying a Bombardier Learjet has never been easier.”

Bombardier leads the corporate aviation industry in offering the widest range of innovative transportation solutions and support including fractional ownership, charter services, aircraft management, warranty programs and customized pilot training.

New Bombardier Learjet 40 customers are able to use their 25 hours for travel throughout the U.S. in the 24-month period following delivery of their Learjet 40. “These hours will be provided aboard a Bombardier Flexjet Learjet 45 at no charge to the customer – we assume the costs associated with these flights,” explained Mr. Rebello.

Bombardier Learjet 40 customers will enjoy a 60-month airframe systems warranty for unscheduled parts and labor protection. Smarts Parts Plus supplements this warranty protection with parts coverage for scheduled airframe system component replacement. Smart Parts Plus also covers tires and brakes for normal wear, as well as kits for most chargeable Bombardier recommended service bulletins and alert service bulletins.
