Bombardier’s regional and business aircraft provide travel solutions to meet growing demand in Eastern Europe
Bombardier Aerospace will show its commitment to the burgeoning Eastern European market by participating in the biennial International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS 2007) in Moscow, Russia, from August 21 to 26, 2007. At MAKS, which attracted over 650,000 visitors to its site last year, Bombardier will showcase the widebody Challenger 605 jet to both potential and current customers.
Bombardier has a long-time commitment in Russia and other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) countries, reflected by a leading presence in the region, with its innovative Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft families. Bombardier is the business aircraft leader in the large aircraft segment in Russia and other CIS countries.

Within the realm of regional aircraft, Bombardier’s CRJ Series regional jets and Q-Series turboprops are the strongest regional market franchises in terms of aircraft deliveries as at April 30, 2007, with more than 2,400 of these aircraft ordered by airlines and operators around the globe.
The first Russian customer to purchase a Bombardier regional jet was Tatarstan Airlines. Earlier in 2007, the airline ordered six CRJ900 jetliners and took options on an additional four aircraft. Recently, Bombardier delivered the first two of these 88-seat aircraft to the airline.

Trade visitors have the opportunity to visit MAKS 2007 from Tuesday, August 21 to Thursday, August 23. Bombardier Aerospace’s exhibit will be located at Exhibit Hall H and the Challenger 605 will be on static display at Entrance 2.
