Bombardier Aerospace today formally appointed Jahid Fazal-Karim as vice-president, international sales, Bombardier Aerospace, Business Aircraft. Based in Montréal, Mr. Fazal-Karim oversees Bombardier’s four international sales teams, as well as all government sales. He reports to Peter Edwards, president, Bombardier Business Aircraft.

Mr. Fazal-Karim first joined Bombardier Aerospace in 2001 as regional vice-president, sales, Americas. He has over 10 years of experience in sales and marketing of both used and new aircraft. A native of Madagascar, Mr. Fazal-Karim graduated from the French National College of Aeronautics (ENAC), and has a master’s degree in Air Transport Management.
As vice-president, Mr. Fazal-Karim leads four regional sales teams and a government sales team, each staffed by sales directors, sales administrators, and office support. Four regional vice-presidents report to Mr. Fazal-Karim, each responsible for sales in their region: Bob Horner, Europe; Fabio Rebello, Latin America; David Dixon, Asia-Pacific; and Michael Fahey, Middle East and Africa. In addition, Derek Gilmour, regional vice-president, missionized aircraft sales, directs missionized Bombardier business jet sales worldwide.
