Bombardier today announced the appointment of Jahid Fazal-Karim to the newly created position of senior vice-president, new aircraft sales, Bombardier Business Aircraft. Mr. Fazal-Karim now oversees both the U.S. and international sales teams, as well as Bombardier's Skyjet International charter operations. He continues to report to Peter Edwards, president, Bombardier Business Aircraft.
"Bombardier has reassumed its traditional role as the leader in corporate aviation with an outstanding year in both sales and deliveries," said Mr. Edwards. "I look forward to the continued growth and success of our sales team's efforts under Jahid's leardership."
Mr. Fazal-Karim has over 15 years experience in business aircraft sales and marketing.
He joined the Bombardier international sales team in 2001 as regional vice-president of sales for Latin America and more recently held the position of vice-president, international sales.
