Bombardier Appoints Sandra Buckler as Senior Director, External Affairs and Public Relations
Bombardier Inc. announced today the appointment of Sandra Buckler, Senior Director, External Affairs and Public Relations. Based in Toronto, Ms. Buckler will be responsible for developing and supporting the company’s external communications activities, focusing on providing strategic communications across Bombardier businesses, media relations, as well as community and stakeholder engagement in Ontario.
An accomplished public affairs professional, Ms. Buckler garnered experience at senior levels in the private sector in Canada and in the United States, as well as in the Federal Government of Canada. Ms. Buckler recently completed a contract at the Toronto Police Service as a Strategic Communications Advisor providing advice on how to communicate the organization’s modernized service delivery model. Prior to this, Ms. Buckler applied her skills in reputation management, advocacy issues and crisis communications, government relations and employee communications for various companies and clients, including transportation companies, such as Bombardier, and a large Canadian retailer.

Ms. Buckler is a graduate from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She is often invited to present on strategic communications and has presented at the Canadian Forces College, the University of Alberta’s School of Public Policy, McGill University, Industry Canada and Canada’s Space Agency.
