Bombardier Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Laurent Beaudoin, today opened a new Regional Office in Singapore, demonstrating Bombardier’s commitment to its many customers in Asia and which will serve the organisation as a hub for the region.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr Beaudoin said: “I am pleased to officially open our new regional office here in Singapore. The opening of this office represents further evidence of our dedication to finding innovative transportation solutions for this country and the Asian region.”
The opening of the new regional office is a continuation of Bombardier’s commitment to better serve and support its customers and to intensify its presence in Singapore in particular and Asia in general.
Welcoming the set up of the regional office by Bombardier, Mr Teo Ming Kian, Chairman, Singapore Economic Development Board, said: “Bombardier’s decision to set up its regional office here is a further affirmation of Singapore’s attractiveness as a leading aviation hub. In particular, the ease of access from Singapore to markets in the region will provide an excellent platform for Bombardier to grow its market share and provide quality support to its customers.”
Bombardier’s presence in Singapore will offer support to customers in the areas of business jets, regional aircraft, large transportation systems, metros and Light Rapid Transit (LRT) systems.
