Bombardier Customer Response Team Expands Capabilities Across the Service Centre Network

  • 15 mobile units now located worldwide
  • Increased capacity and capabilities across the Service Centre Network

Bombardier Business Aircraft is pleased to announce the expansion of its Customer Response Team (CRT) mobile fleet to include a fully equipped service support van based at the Amsterdam Service Centre in the Netherlands. This marks the 15th addition of a mobile unit to our worldwide fleet. The addition follows the deployment of a CRT van in Nice, France, where Bombardier has offered Line Maintenance support since 2014.

The Amsterdam van covers Benelux, and the Nice van travels between the South of France and Northern Italy, offering the full strength of the Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centre Network in a mobile environment. The vans are manned by a team of technicians and support all families of Bombardier Business Aircraft. They travel fully equipped with both consumable and servicing equipment, ‎and carry state-of-the-art, comprehensive tooling on board to perform unscheduled and scheduled maintenance. They also have the capacity to carry specialized equipment as required.

“We are thrilled to increase the capability and availability of our Service Centre Network through our expanded CRT presence,” said Stan Younger, Vice President, Aircraft Service Centres. “The addition of the mobile units in Europe is a direct investment in customer satisfaction, and signals to our customers that they can continue to count on us around the world.”

The Amsterdam Service Centre is celebrating its fifth year of operation. Its dedicated staff of nearly 60 is equipped to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, as well as modifications, avionics installations and provide Aircraft on Ground (AOG) support for Bombardier LearjetChallenger and Global aircraft. The Centre received full Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certification in March 2015, in addition to existing certifications from European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Aruba, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman Islands, Isle of Man, Kazakhstan, Qatar and United Arab Emirates.

Located at the Schiphol Airport, the Amsterdam facility is one of seven wholly-owned Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centres, which also include facilities in Singapore and five other service centres in North America. The Nice Line Maintenance Station began operations in 2014, and holds the same certifications as Amsterdam.

Furthermore, as part of our commitment to worldwide customer service, Bombardier Business Aircraft’s Service Centre Network has increased capacity to support our customers within the United States. In April, it expanded the Wichita Service Centre enabling the facility to service more aircraft, including Global aircraft. In the past year, Bombardier Business Aircraft has added six CRT trucks to the continental U.S. bringing the total to 13 from coast to coast. CRT trucks are now pre-positioned in San Jose, California; Houston, Texas; Columbus, Ohio; White Plains, New York; Dulles, Virginia; Miami, Florida; as well as Atlanta, Georgia; Orlando, Florida; Van Nuys, California; Denver, Colorado; Chicago, Illinois; Seattle, Washington and Teterboro, New Jersey.
