Bombardier Aerospace today announced it has extended the existing agreement with Savannah Air Center as a preferred completion center for Global 5000 and Global Express XRS jets. With this contract, Bombardier has secured capacity for a minimum of twelve (12) addtional Global business jets over the next three (3) years, further strengthening Bombardier's commitment to offer its customers superior quality executive aircraft interiors from leading completion houses worldwide.

Savannah Air Center has performed interior completions and modifications, avionics upgrades, maintenance and exterior paint on Challenger and Global aircraft since 2005. A new 101,000 square-foot (9,383 sq-m) hangar is being added to the facility specifically for Global aircraft completions and maintenance and will be fully operational by the end of November 2007.

“This new agreement is a real benefit to the growing number of Global aircraft customers, offering them more options for customized design and installation of their interiors.”
Savannah Air Center’s completion campus includes an in-house design center, on-site cabinet and interior fabrication shops and a state-of-the-art paint booth designed specifically for painting large cabin aircraft. The existing facility also features a 130,000 square-foot (12,077 sq-m) service center and FAA-approved Repair Station for Challenger and Global business jets. Established in 1999, Savannah Air Center is located at Savannah International Airport and employs a team of 250 highly skilled professionals.
