Bombardier today announced the appointment of Mark Karls as director of its Dallas Service Center.
With a degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology from Embry-Riddle University, Mr. Karls brings 23 years of industry experience to his new role with Bombardier. He has held previous positions at Gulfstream Aerospace and Savannah Air Center and is a licensed Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic.
Reporting directly to Leon Botteron, regional vice-president, Bombardier Aircraft Service Centers, Mr. Karls is responsible for the overall operations at the Dallas facility and will place special emphasis on customer service excellence, quality and continuous business improvements.
Located at Dallas Love Field, the 100,000-square-foot (9,290-sq-m) service center offers full maintenance and repair capabilities for Learjet, Challenger and Global aircraft.
The facility also offers Bombardier business jet operators a complete range of after-sales service including scheduled maintenance, interior refurbishment, routine and non-routine service, mobile repair parties and aircraft-on-ground (AOG) support.
