First Authorized Service Facility in U.S. to service all Bombardier business aircraft families
Bombardier Aerospace today appointed Landmark Aviation as an Authorized Service Facility (ASF) for Bombardier Learjet and Challenger aircraft – a major step forward in ensuring faster turnaround times on all maintenance and support services in the U.S.
Already approved to conduct maintenance on Bombardier Global business jets, Landmark now becomes the only ASF in the U.S. to service all three families of Bombardier business aircraft. With the new agreement, Learjet, Challenger 600 Series and Global aircraft in production, under warranty, and the Bombardier Smart Parts extended warranty program are covered. Landmark will begin maintaining Bombardier Learjet and Challenger 600 Series aircraft this month.
The relationship between Bombardier and Landmark – formerly known as Garrett/Piedmont Hawthorne/Associated – dates to July 2000, when Garrett Aviation Services was approved as an ASF for Bombardier Global business jets.

Strategically located at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), Landmark Aviation offers Bombardier customers round-the-clock access to a full range of aviation services. The facility boasts over 120,000 square feet (38,576 sq. m) of hangar space, and employs over 200 technicians and specialists. A two million $US renovation, scheduled for completion in
April 2006, will add a service area and a lounge.

Bombardier continues to invest steadily in its service and maintenance capabilities. Landmark Aviation is the 27th independent ASF in Bombardier’s worldwide network, which includes nine Learjet, six Challenger and two Global aircraft ASFs in North America.
The ASF network complements the eight Bombardier factory-owned service centers in the U.S., which ensure prompt and flexible service around the clock.
International support is also available at Lufthansa Bombardier Aviation Services in Berlin, Germany and the ExecuJet service center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, along with 15 ASF locations throughout Europe, Africa, the Pacific Rim, and in Central and South America.
