Bombardier today named OMNI Aviação, the pioneering aircraft charter and services company based in Cascais, Portugal, as the exclusive sales representative for Bombardier Learjet aircraft in France and Portugal.
“Bombardier offers the most modern and complete line of business jets and we look forward to providing these comprehensive travel solutions to business jet operators and passengers in France and Portugal,” stated José Miguel da Costa, chief executive officer, OMNI Aviação, which aquired Aero Services, France’s largest business aviation operator, based in Le Bourget.
Under the agreement, OMNI is responsible for marketing and sales activities in France and Portugal for the legendary Learjet aircraft line, currently featuring the Learjet 40 XR, Learjet 45 XR and Learjet 60 XR jets. OMNI will work closely with the Bombardier business aircraft’s sales team, headed by Bob Horner, vice-president, sales, Europe, Africa and Middle East.
“This agreement is a natural progression of the growing business relationship between Bombardier and OMNI, and is a key milestone in our fast-growing presence across Europe,” observed Mr. Horner. "OMNI excels at offering superior services to business jet customers, making the company an obvious choice to join Bombardier Business Aircraft’s world-class sales representative network."
A member of Bombardier Skyjet International’s charter network since 2002, OMNI Aviação already enjoys a well-established relationship with Bombardier. In February 2006, OMNI began operating a new Learjet 45 light jet from its Aero Services facility at Paris-Le Bourget Airport.
A world-leading manufacturer of innovative transportation solutions, from regional aircraft and business jets to rail transportation equipment, Bombardier Inc. is a global corporation headquartered in Canada. Its revenues for the fiscal year ended Jan. 31, 2006, were $14.7 billion US and its shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (BBD).
