Bombardier Names Sales Executive for Europe

Gary R. Scott, President, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft announces the appointment of Steven Aliment to the newly created position of Regional Vice President Sales – Europe. He will be based at Bombardier’s Regional Support Office near Munich.

“During his more than 25 years with The Boeing Company, Steve gained a broad range of experience selling commercial aircraft throughout Europe as well as having led the sales efforts for Boeing Commercial Aviation Services worldwide,” said Mr. Scott. “Steve brings valuable experience and background with the mainline carriers which, coupled with the time he spent in Europe, will allow him to immediately establish himself in his new leadership role and contribute to our on-going sales efforts in this very important region.”

Mr. Aliment will report to the Senior Vice President, Sales, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft.

Mr. Scott also announced the appointment of Kevin J. Smith as Vice President, Sales – Americas. Mr. Smith was formerly Vice President, Sales – International and recently led the sales campaigns that resulted in firm orders for Bombardier CSeries aircraft from Lufthansa Group and Lease Corporation International Group.

Mr. Smith will also serve as interim Senior Vice President, Sales for Bombardier Commercial Aircraft, replacing James E. Dailly who has retired after a 33-year career with de Havilland/Bombardier.
