Bombardier Skyjet business jet charter service for customers calling from Canada

Bombardier Skyjet®, the premier service for booking charter business jets and a unit of Bombardier Aerospace, announced that customers in Canada can book a charter business jet by calling 1–888-2SKYJET in the U.S. or visiting www.skyjet.com.

According to Nicholas Houseman, general manager of Bombardier Skyjet, this service provides customers calling from Canada with a fast and efficient way to book a charter business jet and assure them of a quality travel experience.

“Our aim is to help promote and develop the market for charter business jets,” said Mr. Houseman. “By making charter business jets more accessible to more people, we expect to introduce more customers to the benefits of business jet travel,” he stated.

The market for charter business jets globally has grown over the past decade and has been less vulnerable to economic fluctuations and factors that have affected the overall aviation industry.

“As Canadian companies add locations in the United States and vice versa and globally, travel needs will change and grow. As a result, we expect to see greater interest in business jet travel, which provides numerous benefits, including time savings, productivity and comfort,” he stated.

The air charter market has considerable growth potential for travel from Canada to the United States and vice versa, particularly when traveling to more remote locations and smaller U.S. and Canadian cities that are less served by traditional scheduled airline service.

Customers calling from Canada have the option of booking charter business jets on demand, or they may sign up for the Premier Fleet private jet membership program. Premier Fleet customers pay a membership fee to purchase a block of 25, 50 or 100 hours and pay a guaranteed hourly rate for flight time.

Premier Fleet is designed to attract the customer who is in transition between charter and fractional ownership. Premier Fleet customers who aspire to fractional ownership may earn credit toward monthly management fees in the Bombardier Flexjet® fractional ownership program. For customers aspiring to whole aircraft ownership, Premier Fleet offers credit toward the purchase of a Bombardier business aircraft.

About Bombardier Skyjet
Founded in 1997 and acquired by Bombardier Aerospace in 2000, Bombardier Skyjet offers the Premier Fleet private jet membership program for frequent charter travelers. Premier Fleet offers customers a choice of 25, 50 or 100 flight hours in a preferred size of aircraft, and guaranteed availability with a 12-hour advanced reservation. By charging a simple hourly rate for each hour flown, Premier Fleet eliminates the deadhead costs associated with one-way jet travel and takes the confusion out of charter jet pricing. Premier Fleet is the only block-hour charter membership program offering the option of earning credit toward whole or fractional aircraft ownership. Premier Fleet Plus - Learjet Class offers customers the opportunity to specify the Learjet® 60 as their aircraft of choice. Bombardier Skyjet also offers on-demand charter business jets through its quality network of safety-audited charter operators. Charter flights are available by calling 1-888-2-SKYJET or by visiting www.skyjet.com.
