Bombardier Skyjet International Links With Team Ferrari West Europe

Bombardier Skyjet International, Europe’s premier jet charter brand, today announced a new marketing agreement with the Team Ferrari West Europe racing organization for high-profile championship racing events across Europe in 2006. The season, which features seven major events, kicks off with the first Ferrari Challenge race May 5-7 in Silverstone, U.K.

“This is a natural alliance for two cutting edge teams universally recognized for high performance and prestige,” said Judith Moreton, managing director, Bombardier Skyjet International.  “As the charter service leader in Europe, Skyjet International is committed to constantly seeking new and innovative offerings for its broadening, worldwide customer base.”

As part of the agreement, the Skyjet International logo will be visible on banners, posters, videos and on all Ferrari Challenge racing cars at Ferrari Days events, while scale models of Bombardier aircraft will also be on display.

The Ferrari Challenge is a championship racing series offering Ferrari F430 Challenge owners an opportunity to rev their engines on some of the greatest race tracks in Europe,
while Ferrari Days are extravaganza weekend events for Ferrari owners to race, dine, and socialize with other Ferrari owners. Conducted in world-class venues across Europe, the 2006 Ferrari Challenge/Ferrari Days attract thousands of enthusiastic Ferrari fans from all over the globe.

“For Team Ferrari West Europe, this alliance is a perfect synergy of common fighting spirits,” said Andrea Castronovo, managing director of Ferrari West Europe. “Our clientele has similar high standards for luxury and personalized service, while our companies share the same commitment to outstanding performance, precision engineering, and innovation.”

Bombardier Learjet, renowned worldwide for speed and performance, has been associated with winning motor sport teams and world-class motor sports events since 1997, when it became a sponsor of Kelley Racing.

In 2002, Bombardier was named the official business aircraft solution provider of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS), a five-year agreement with the Indy Racing League (IRL) that includes naming rights to the landmark Pagoda control tower at the IMS, sponsorship of the Bombardier Learjet 500 race and sponsorship of the IRL Bombardier Rookie of the Year Award. In 2003, the company also partnered with IRL’s Marlboro Team Penske.
