'One-Way Specials' Match Customer Inquiries with Operator Inventory of Empty Legs
Bombardier Skyjet, the premier service for private business jet travel and a unit of Bombardier Aerospace, announced the launch of its new Web site (www.skyjet.com), with an enhanced design and new features to provide customers with access to discounted "empty leg" flights as well as the ability to engage in online "live chat" with experienced customer care representatives.
Skyjet, a leading jet card provider, pioneered real-time online booking of private jets in 1997 and continues to be a technology innovator in its segment. "Our new Web-based features offer our customers more tools to plan their private jet travel and immediate online access to our staff in order to quickly and easily answer any questions they may have," said Skyjet Managing Director Alexandre Monnier.
In addition, Mr. Monnier pointed out that the Skyjet Web site continues to offer a real-time booking engine to price and reserve a private jet for on-demand, pay-as-you-go private jet travel.
A key new feature of the Skyjet Web site is a section devoted to special one-way trip listings - consisting of operators' empty legs - where registered users can set up email "trip alerts" to receive up-to-date information about available one-way specials that match their preferred routes and schedules.
"This is an enhanced version of a feature that Skyjet introduced several years ago, which promises to be a win-win for our customers and the quality group of operators within the Skyjet Network," said Mr. Monnier.
The new site also features enhanced graphic design and new content such as information about Bombardier events, news, and special alliances that offer benefits to Skyjet customers.
About Bombardier Skyjet
Founded in 1997 and acquired by Bombardier Aerospace in 2000, Bombardier Skyjet offers the Skyjet Card for frequent private jet travelers. The Skyjet Card offers members a choice of 25, 50 or 100 flight hours in a preferred size of aircraft, and guaranteed availability with a 12-hour advanced reservation. By charging a simple hourly rate for each hour flown, the Skyjet Card eliminates the deadhead costs associated with one-way jet travel and takes the confusion out of charter jet pricing. Bombardier Skyjet is the only jet card provider offering the option of earning credit toward whole or fractional aircraft ownership. In addition, the Learjet Card and the Challenger Jet Card offer members the opportunity to specify the Bombardier Learjet 31/31A, Bombardier Learjet 60 or Bombardier Challenger 604 as their aircraft of choice. Bombardier Skyjet also offers on-demand business jet charter through its quality network of operators. For more information or to book a trip, customers can call 1-888-2-SKYJET or visit www.skyjet.com.
