Bombardier welcomes the "Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto featuring Rolling Stones" concert to its Toronto site

Bombardier Souvenir Walls to be donated to the City of Toronto

Bombardier Aerospace is proud to play a role in support of the Greater Toronto Area by welcoming the "Molson Canadian Rocks for Toronto Featuring Rolling Stones" concert to its Toronto site, adjacent to Downsview Park, on July 30, 2003.

“As one of Toronto’s largest corporate citizens, Bombardier is pleased to join in the effort to revitalize the economy and revive tourism in Toronto. Bombardier has a long tradition of giving back to the communities where it operates. Our involvement in this event underlines this commitment,” said Todd Young, vice-president, Operations, Bombardier Aerospace in Toronto.

To commemorate the day-long event, Bombardier will erect a wall at each of the two entrances to the concert site on which concertgoers will be invited to sign and write messages of goodwill for the City of Toronto. The detachable section of the walls will then be donated to the City in the days following the event.

Soon after Molson and Rolling Stones tour promoter Michael Cohl announced the event, Bombardier joined the Federal Government, the Province of Ontario, the City of Toronto and other members of the private sector to make this concert a reality. Since the concert announcement June 24, Bombardier has provided the music event organizers access to its site as well as operational and logistics support.
