Industry veteran J. Bruce Peddle brings more than 25 years of global enterprise management experience to the position

Flexjet is proud to announce the addition of J. Bruce Peddle, an aviation industry expert with an impressive 25-year background, as the company’s new Vice President of Sales and Marketing. In his new position, Peddle will be responsible for leading Flexjet’s sales organization and overseeing the company’s marketing initiatives.

“Bruce’s notable industry experience and expansive aviation knowledge—not to mention his established track record of leading a profitable team—will prove crucial in driving Flexjet’s strategic sales and marketing objectives,” said Fred Reid, President, Flexjet. “The future is bright for our industry, and Bruce has the unique skill set needed to elevate Flexjet as the provider of choice for today’s private jet traveler.”

“Flexjet is an exceptional brand with great potential for further growth and I am delighted to have this opportunity to join an impressive management team under Fred Reid’s leadership,” Mr. Peddle commented. “I look forward to complementing the team’s initiatives and focus on growing Flexjet.”

For the past 14 years, Peddle has contributed to the growth of global aerospace company Embraer, where most recently he served as Vice President of North America’s Airline Market. In this role, he was responsible for marketing, sales and product support for the company’s airline market activities which focused on capturing new business and achieving excellence in customer satisfaction and after-sales support. Prior to that position, Peddle spent more than four years as Managing Director of Embraer Asia Pacific in Singapore where he significantly grew the company’s market share and product support infrastructure in the region.

Peddle’s professional background also includes time previously working for Bombardier—Flexjet’s parent company and the world’s largest manufacturer of business jets—in international sales and marketing. Early in his career he worked at Canadian Helicopter Corp., (formerly Sealand Helicopters) and Air Canada Jazz (formerly Air Nova), which helped instill his life-long dedication to the aviation industry.

Peddle attended Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Finance, as well as his Certified Management Accountant designation from the Society of Management Accountants of Canada. He also carries a diploma in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology from the College of the North Atlantic in Gander, Canada.
