New Tucson BBAS general manager Rob Mauracher brings strong maintenance background

Rob Mauracher has been named General Manager of the Bombardier Business Aviation Services (BBAS) Tucson Service Center.
He began his new role in January, 2004.

“Rob brings with him extensive knowledge of the aviation industry gained over the past 23 years,” commented Bob Sundin, vice-president, service centers, BBAS, in announcing the appointment. Mr. Mauracher, a licensed airframe and powerplant mechanic, joined Bombardier Aerospace in February 2002 to establish a new centre of excellence in Montreal to support out-of-production Bombardier aircraft. The centre now supports more than 1,700 airframes worldwide.

“His experience in strategic planning, sales and marketing, material management and customer contracts will allow Rob to successfully lead the ongoing growth, performance and customer satisfaction initiatives at our Tucson facility,” observed
Mr. Sundin.
