Three New International Service Facilities To Keep Bombardier Business Jets Flying

Bombardier Aerospace today announced it has added three new business aircraft service facilities to its international support network. Arkia Maintenance of Tel Aviv, Israel, and Metrojet of Hong Kong, China, have both been named Bombardier Line Maintenance Facilities (LMF), and RUAG of Oberphaffenhoffen, Germany, has been named an Authorized Service Facility (ASF).

Based at Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Arkia has seven years of experience servicing business jets and has been servicing its own international commercial fleet since 1949, in addition to various general aviation aircraft. Arkia Maintenance holds an additional facility for heavy maintenance located at the Sde Dov Airport in Tel Aviv, and boasts 1,500 sq. m (16,000 sq. ft) of hangar space. Arkia Maintenance is certified to perform work on all Bombardier Global , Challenger 300, Challenger 604 and Challenger 605 aircraft.

Metrojet Limited is part of Hong Kong Aviation Group, which has operated and maintained aircraft for 30 years. This state-of-the-art service facility based at the Hong Kong International Airport offers extensive technical expertise and critical service and support capabilities to a growing customer base in Hong Kong, Mainland China and throughout Asia. Metrojet is certified to perform work on all Bombardier Global, Challenger, and Learjet business aircraft.

Challenger and Global business jet operators can benefit from over 25 years of maintenance experience at RUAG’s business jet maintenance facility. Located at Airfield Oberpfaffenhoffen, it features 5,000 sq. m (54,000 sq. ft) of hangar space. The Bombardier ASF offers avionics, engine and landing gear service as well as paint and interior refurbishing.

The Bombardier Service network is composed of 45 facilities providing the highest quality of aircraft maintenance support for its operators around the globe.
