Bombardier Aerospace today announced the appointment of Tim Lakata as director, Learjet sales, Northeast United States, Bombardier Business Aircraft.
Based in Hartford, Connecticut, Mr. Lakata will oversee all Learjet sales for Connecticut, District of Columbia, Delaware, Massachusetts, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont and West Virginia.
Mr. Lakata began his career at Bombardier in 2004 as a widebody demonstration pilot, flying the Challenger 300 and Challenger 604 aircraft as well as the Global Express XRS and Global 5000 jets. He has over 18 years of flying experience with the U.S. Air Force and the Bombardier demonstration team. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
