Together we give wings to Quebec ingenuity
In 1996, Bombardier unveiled its first clean sheet design – the Global business jet – a marvel of local aerospace engineering and craftsmanship. Twenty five years later, we celebrate the delivery of the 1,000th Global aircraft and the success of Quebec ingenuity recognized around the world.
While we have come a long way from our beginnings in Valcourt, Quebec, we all share the same passion for innovation and community that Joseph-Armand Bombardier instilled from the very beginning. His legacy lives on in Bombardier today, where the industry flagship Global 7500 aircraft has become a key economic driver with a total economic footprint in Canada of $2.0 billion in GDP and generating 8,456 jobs per year on average (1).
Thank you for contributing to the international success of the Global aircraft platform and giving wings to Quebec ingenuity.
