Training for a bright future
In Canada, to help foster the next generation of aerospace professionals, Bombardier donated a Global 7500 Flight Test Vehicle to Centennial College in Ontario, Canada, providing students with hands-on training experience with a technologically advanced, cutting-edge business jet. We also contributed $150,0003 for the completion of the college’s Landing Gear Research Project and the extension of the educational program.
Developing passion for STEM
Bombardier and its employees have contributed greatly to the success of the FIRST Robotics program in Québec and its annual robotics competition. The three-day event, for which Bombardier is a founding partner and the title sponsor, is organized with the aim of inspiring elementary and high school students to be science and technology leaders and innovators. In positions ranging from greeters to judges to team monitors and Bombardier representatives, our employees share their passion for technology and support the industry leaders of tomorrow.
